Panama is a unique country with an incredible biodiversity! You can find wild Orchids, mangrove swamps, Morpho Butterflies, indigenous Red Frog, leatherback, loggerhead, hawksbill, green turtles and many other species of animals and plants.
The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) has 25 full-time research scientists cataloging the diversity. To date Over 6,300 species of plant and animals have been described and photographed in this database.
Natural Amenities
The terrain on the island features secondary and primary rainforest stands on hills and small mountains based on ancient basalt rock formations.
Much of the 1st Phase of this development took place on re-claimed ranch land and teak plantations. The developers have the goal to preserve 70-80% of the forest in their Phase II.
There is something for everyone at Red Frog Beach Project and we hope that you will take the opportunity to explore this unique island property soon!
